Doyle Raizner partner Jeff Raizner became President of the Houston Trial Lawyers’ Association at yesterday’s annual meeting. Jason Gibson has served as president for the last year. New officers were also installed.
Houston Trial Lawyers’ Association is a non-profit association comprised of trial lawyers in the greater Houston area. The group organizes networking events and fundraisers, and provides other benefits to both the legal community and the association’s members. The mission statement of the organization is as follows:
“The purpose of HTLA shall be the advancement of the cause of those who are damaged in person and property and who must seek redress therefore at law; to resist the continuing efforts to curtail the rights of such persons; to encourage cooperation among lawyers engaged in the furtherance of such objectives; and through such cooperation to promote justice and human welfare.”
Jeff is also a member of Texas Trial Lawyers’ Association, Houston Bar Association, American Association of Justice, Arizona Trial Lawyers’ Association and Missouri Trial Lawyers Association, among other groups. He looks forward to his presidency and is committed to promoting the causes of HTLA.
